Former Dal Shabet member Viki will now be delivering the latest weather reports!
Starting this April, Viki will be forecasting the weather during the 9PM news program on the cable channel, jTBC. This is the first time that a K-pop singer has made the transition to weathercaster, which will set its program apart from competitors.
She also announced the news through her me2day account, “Hi everyone. I will be a main weathercaster on JTBC beginning in April. You’ll be sure to watch our channel at 9PM right?”
Viki, who debuted as a member of Dal Shabet, departed from the group last year to pursue a solo career. Her last performance was at the Yeosu Expo concert last May and has since then participated in various collaborative singles as solo artist.
