JYJ’s Junsu talks about MV filming in the US

JYJ’s Kim Junsu shared for the first time his experience filming a music video in the United States.

Junsu recently had a photo shoot and interview for star life style magazine ‘@Star1’ and shared behind episodes that took place while filming the music video for his English single, “Uncommitted.”

He worked with the famous American music video director Mark Clarfelt for his first English single album “Uncommitted” that was released in August. He particularly received explosive reactions from the fans for his love scenes with a German model and a Romanian-Korean model.

Junsu shared, “In Korea, directors usually specifically tell me what to do before we start, but in America, they didn’t do that. He just said, ‘Sing as if you’re seducing a woman’ and yelled ‘Action!’ right away. All the acting was improvised.”

He continued, “All of the staffs were watching me, so I had to finish it before getting shy. All of them were famous staffs, and since it was first time to work with a Korean singer for them, I felt a great responsibility of doing a good job.”
