EXO-M, the Chinese unit of SM Entertainment’s EXO, had the honor of garnering the ‘Most Popular Group Of The Year’ award in a famous music awards ceremony in China.
On September 18, SM Entertainment reported that EXO-M was awarded the ‘Most Popular Group Of The Year’ at the fifth Mengniu Annual Billboard Music Festival, which was held on September 17 in Beijing, China. It is one of the most prestigious award shows in China, which honors China’s top rookie artists in 10 different categories.
Upon being announced as the recipient of the award, EXO-M members stated, “We feel so happy and grateful for the award. We had our first debut performance during last year’s award, and now we are getting recognized on the same stage. We think we have some special relationship with this event. We’ll do our best in whatever we do, and develop into even better and more mature musicians.”
