YG Entertainment and Samsung’s Cheil Industries have joined hands to launch a new global fashion business. The partnership will officially be signed on June 28.
According to YG Entertainment, a new global fashion brand will be launched that will target individuals in their teens through 20s all over the world. The overall concept of the brand hasn’t been revealed yet, but the two groups plan combines Korean and K-Pop’s culture and fashion.
A representative of YG stated, “By combining YG Entertainment’s fashion style and marketing ability with Cheil Industries’ global network, we’ll be able to create a completely new style of brand. We will not rest with all the developments we’ve made until now, and using our creative strength, we will create a new boom in hallyu that will spread out to not only Asia, but the whole world.”
