SM Entertainment says it never interrupted JYJ’s activities

SM Entertainment expressed dissatisfaction toward the sanction given by the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) against them and the KFBCAI for interfering with the JYJ’s activities.

The agency has released its official statement saying, “We feel dissatisfaction that such decision has been made, despite the fact that we have never interfered with their activities. We’re looking for a legal response to the sanction.”

Korea Fair Trade Commission had issued a sanction on July 24 against JYJ’s former agency SM Entertainment and the Korean Federation of Pop Culture and Art Industry, ordering them to stop interfering with the group’s activities. FTC told the two entities used their clout to force local broadcasters to blacklist JYJ and pressure music distributors to limit JYJ’s album circulation.
