CNBLUE files counter lawsuit against Crying Nut
After being caught in a copyright violation controversy, CNBLUE has filed a counter lawsuit against Crying Nut for spreading false rumors.
According to a source, CNBLUE and FNC Entertainment filed a lawsuit in order to prevent Crying Nut from spreading false information. CNBLUE members said that their reputation is quite damaged due to the spreading of false rumors, and claims should not be made until the judgment.
The legal battle started when Crying Nut filed a lawsuit against CNBLUE after the idol band performed Crying Nut’s song without permission, which went on to be recorded and sold in Japan through a DVD. Mnet said that it will take responsibility but Crying Nut asked Mnet to not interfere. FNC Entertainment and CNBLUE have already issued an official apology.
