JYJ sells out Tokyo Dome concerts despite 3 year absence
Despite being away from Japan due to their legal wrangle with Avex, JYJ ascertained their huge popularity in the country with their successful ‘The Return of JYJ’ concerts in Tokyo Dome.
C-JeS Entertainment stated, “JYJ sold out all 150,000 seats for their 3 day concert, and over 300,000 fans requested for tickets beforehand. JYJ members grew not just as singers, but as actors as well, and they have been making significant achievements in many other countries. Even though they did not make much of TV appearances, they’ve acquired a stronger and bigger fandom.”
A related staff expressed, “We could see JYJ’s power once again. Everybody has been waiting for this show, and we can even compare this to Michael Jackson’s visit to Korea. Since they won their lawsuit, we’re looking forward to their future Japanese promotions. We’re anticipating the concert they’ll put on for their Japanese fans.”
JYJ is holding their ‘The Return of the JYJ’ concerts at Tokyo Dome from April 2nd to 4th.
