DMTN member Daniel was arrested for being involved in drug trafficking.
Daniel was suspected of drug abuse and trafficking, and the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency filed a warrant of arrest on the 8th. However, after drug tests turned out negative, was only charged for trafficking the drug. The singer admitted to a part of the charges during questioning.
DMTN’s agency 2works Entertainment released an official statement saying, “Daniel did not smoke the marijuana himself. But he thoughtlessly believed that as long as he did not smoke himself, it wasn’t a big crime, and that’s what led to this incident.”
They added, “Daniel admitted to his charges, and showed a willingness to cooperate fully with police.He is deeply regretful and guilty of his rash and reckless behavior. He hasn’t received the final verdict yet but he does not want to make excuses for his mistakes.”
