K-Pop Star’s Lee Seung Hoon to debut as member of YG’s new boy group
SBS ‘K-Pop Star’ season 1 contestant Lee Seung Hoon will be making his debut as part of YG Entertainment’s upcoming boy group and not as a solo artist.
Lee Seung Hoon is reported to have focused on honing his rap skills, spending his whole weekends. The report comes as a surprise as many assumed that the participant will debut as a solo.
YG Entertainment’s CEO Yang Hyun Suk also confirmed, “Lee Seung Hoon will debut as a part of the new team we are preparing. He is likely to shine brighter when he’s in a team than on his own. His debut will depend on his own efforts, but there’s no doubt that he’s practicing diligently. I guess he will make his debut as early as this year or next year.”
However, Yang Hyun Suk revealed that Lee Seung Hoon’s group is different from the other boy group that they have been preparing. He said, “Lee Seung Hoon’s group will be very different from other idol groups in its nature.”
Lee Seung Hoon gained a lot of attention on ‘K-Pop Star’ for his talent in presenting mind-boggling performances with his delicate yet witty choreographed moves. He signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment in May 2012.
