Girls’ Generation, KARA, Big Bang and more win at the Japan Gold Disc Awards 2013


The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced the winners of The Japan Gold Disc Award 2013 and seven K-pop artists made it to the list.

Established in 1987, the Japan Gold Disc Award is one of the major annual music awards in Japan, held by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). It recognizes the bestselling artists in the country based on music sales and downloads, and the awards for the 27th edition utilized data from November 1, 2011 to October 31, 2012.
