Big Bang Seungri’s Japanese drama to be aired in Korea
Big Bang member Seungri’s Japanese drama ‘Kindaichi, Case Files: Hong Kong Murder Case’ will be aired in Korea for the first time.
In the drama, Seungri plays the role of Korean transfer student who lives in Hong Kong, and is suspected in a murder that took place in the hotel he works at. The Japanese production also boasts a lineup of Asia’s hottest idol singers including Japanese singer Ryosuke Yamada as well as Taiwan’s Wu Chun and Vivian Hsu.
The series is based off of the popular manga that started in 1992 as a serial in “Weekly Shonen Magazine” (Kodansha). The manga has been adapted to dramas several times, and continues to garner a huge following even after welcoming their 20th anniversary.
‘Kindaichi, Case Files: Hong Kong Murder Case’ will air on SBS plus on January 13 at 1AM (KST).
