Idol group B1A4 won 2 awards at the 27th Japan Golden Disk Awards.
Organized by the Recording Industry Association of Japan, the Golden Disk Awards selects the artists who have been most active for a year.
B1A4 was awarded for the "New Artist Of The Year" and the "Best 3 New Artists", earning the glory for 2 categories.
This year's winners for the "Artist Of The Year" award went to B1A4 along with One Direction, one of the most popular British boy bands and Nogijaka 46, who made their debut in 2011 as the official rival of AKB48.
The "Best New Artists" awards were received by B1A4, together with other Korean artists - IU and Boyfriend.
On June 2012, B1A4 debuted in Japan with "Beautiful Target - Japanese Version". All tickets for their first exclusive concert in Japan, which will be held at the Yokohama Arena and Kobe World Memorial Hall were sold out in only 3 minutes.
B1A4 members expressed their thoughts, "We can't believe that we received 2 awards. We were able to win these amazing awards because of our fans' support. Thank you very much everyone and in 2013, we will work hard and try to become a group that will receive more love."
Meanwhile, B1A4 have been taking a break after wrapping up their first domestic exclusive concert in December last year and they are focusing for their first exclusive concert in Japan which will be held at the end of this month.
