‘My Daughter Seoyoung’ filming canceled temporarily
Filming of KBS2’s ‘My Daughter Seoyoung’ was canceled after its set was taken over by members of the Korean Broadcast Actors Union (KBAU).
On December 18th, the Korea Broadcasting Actors Union took over the drama’s set because the actors had not been paid yet. The union members and KBS2 couldn’t settle on an agreement after the actors claimed that they were owed some 1.3 billion won ($1.2 million), forcing the production company to halt the filming.
KBS stated, “The problem with the pay lies with the outside production companies. However, we will do our best to keep broadcasting on the regular dates.”
