JYJ’s Jaejoong to release solo album in January

Back in October, JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong told his fans that he is working on a new track. It seems that his work will be for his first solo album, following in the heels of Kim Junsu.

According to C-JeS Entertainment, “Jaejoong will be releasing his first solo mini album in January. The album enlisted the help of Kim Ba Da of the legendary rock band, Sinawe, and will contain various rock genre songs. You’ll be able to hear Jaejoong’s husky and high notes that you wouldn’t have seen during JYJ’s activities.”

No other specific information on his new album has been released but it was hinted that the album jacket cover and video teaser are ready and will be released accordingly.

Jaejoong is continuously showing his talents as a singer/songwriter, he’s been writing lyrics and songs since his TVXQ days. He has also written many tracks for JYJ’s albums, but also the OST pieces for his dramas ‘Protect The Boss’ and ‘Dr.Jin’.
