B.A.P’s “No Mercy” wins ‘Song of the Year’ in Germany

In addition to winning the ‘Best New Male Artist’ award, B.A.P received the ‘Song of the Year’ in Germany’s recent ‘Remarkable Awards 2012’.

B.A.P took home the ‘Song of the Year’ award with “No Mercy”, beating out strong contenders like Big Bang’s “Fantastic Baby” and Psy’s “Gangnam Style”. In 2010 SHINee’s “Lucifer” won the Song of the Year, while in 2011 it was B2ST’s “Fiction”. This is the first year a rookie’s song managed to rise to the honor.

The group had already put their names on the top of Germany’s Asian Music Charts with their debut song, “Warrior,” “No Mercy” and “Don’t Do It.” In particular, “No Mercy” charted first on the chart for two months in August and September, solidifying their status as one of the uprising stars.
