Teaser for Song Hye Kyo’s film ‘The Grandmaster’ released


A teaser for Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai’s first kung fu film ‘The Grandmaster’ was released on November 7th, showing scenes featuring Korean actress Song Hye Kyo.

Photos and a 3-minute trailer show some of the leading actors in the Chinese-speaking world such as Tony Leung, Zhang Ziyi and Chang Chen, along with Song Hye Kyo.

Dressed in a traditional Chinese qipao, Song Hye Kyo appears both melancholic and mysterious to build curiosity about her role in the film. She plays the role of a soft and feminine woman with strong and powerful kung fu.

‘The Grandmaster’ which Wong has spent a decade getting on to the big screen, is a biographical portrayal of Yip Man, the man who taught Bruce Lee kung fu. It will be released worldwide on December 18.
