Jang Geun Suk’s official fan club ‘Cri J’ has donated over 9 million won to a charity organization in honor of his birthday, which is September 26th.
According to Cri J, the fan club collected 926 KRW from each of the fans during ‘Jang Geun Suk Asia Tour THE CRISHOW 2 in Seoul’, which took place on July 7th. As more fans expressed their desire to participate in the donation, they held a fundraising until 25th, and donated 9,260,000KRW in total.
This year is the 20th anniversary of Jang Geun Suk’s debut, and the ‘Jang Geun Suk Debut 20th Anniversary Volunteer Team’ donated the money to a charity they are supporting.
Meanwhile, Jang Geun Suk is currently shooting commercials in Germany, and next month will open his Asian tour in Fukuoka, Japan.
