Rookie group BTOB has caught the attention of famed American producer Teddy Riley with their comeback title track, “WOW”.
On September 21, Teddy posted a link of BTOB’s recent “WOW” music video and expressed his praises saying, “SEE THIS IS WHAT NEW JACK SWING DO TO KPOP...WHOEVER PRODUCED THIS, I HAVE BITE MARKS.”
In reply to his fans, he continued, “Get them to me and I will. They took the chance on New Jack Swing and I love it. GO BTOB!!!! YOU ARE SCHOLARS!!!! GOOD JOB!!!!” and “They have strong heart and they’re not afraid to try New Jack. MICHAEL JACKSON IS PROUD!!!!”
BTOB’s Peniel soon noticed the tweet and thanked the producer saying, “hello mr. Riley this is Peniel of BTOB. Thank you for tweeting about us and complimenting us. We feel honored that you tweeted about us :P we are currently promoting “WOW” in Korea and we will try harder to get the New Jack Swing popular in Korea. If the opportunity presents itself we would love to work with you in the future.”
Teddy Riley responded, “@OFFICIALBTOB Yesir!!!! You guys rock out wit the NJS bigtime!!! Lets go I′m ready!!! The party ain′t over!!!”
