Super Junior’s Leeteuk shed tears as he revealed past stories about the violence in his family.
On the September 10th broadcast of MBC’s “Good Day”, a video clip of Leeteuk’s interview was shown in a segment about different celebrities’ secret past.
In the interview, Leeteuk revealed, “My parents were always fighting, and I was beaten up a lot as well. I had that stress since I was in elementary school,” and confessed that he had a family trouble.
Though they were largely shocked, the viewers were moved by Leeteuk’s courage to share his story and many netizens expressed their sympathy and admiration for the singer. They commented, “Never knew he had such a bad past”, “He’s still so bright” and “It was very touching.”
