Rapper Psy has become the first ever Korean act to top the Official UK Singles Chart.
On September 30, The Official Chart Company, who tracks music sales for the United Kingdom, announced that Psy ranked first on the singles chart with “Gangnam Style” in the first week of October, after spending 6 weeks in the Top 40.
Psy’s “Gangnam Style” beated out the Irish rock band The Script’s “Hall Of Fame,” which topped the charts for three consecutive weeks.
