Both Psy and Super Junior have been nominated for 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards.
Psy, who has been steadily rising to fame worldwide with the viral hit “Gangnam Style”, has been nominated in the ‘Best Video’ category. He will be competing alongside popular artists such as, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, M.I.A and Rihanna.
Super Junior, on the other hand, is nominated for the ‘Best Asian Act’ category for the 2012 MTV EMA. The group will be contending against former Super Junior member Hangeng, EXILE, Jolin Tsai and Yuna. The winner will represent Asia in the ‘Best Worldwide Act’ voting.
Meanwhile, Big Bang was nominated under the ‘World Wide Act Asia Pacific Nominees’ category last year, before winning in the Worldwide Act’ for MTV EMA 2011.
