CNBLUE’s ‘Code Name Blue’ tops Oricon’s weekly chart

After making a number one finish on Oricon’s Daily Album Chart, CNBLUE’s third Japanese album ‘Code Name Blue’ continues to score success on the Weekly Album Chart.

On September 4th, the Oricon announced that CNBLUE’s ‘Code Name Blue’ had sold 44,000 copies in its first week, and topped Oricon’s Daily and Weekly Album Charts. Despite competition with popular Japanese artists like AKB48, the group maintained its top position.

‘Code Name Blue’ consists of 13 songs and 9 among them are personally written by Jung Yonghwa while Jonghyun, on the other hand, produced two tracks. The title track “Time is over” is composed and written by Yonghwa after getting inspired by the film ‘The Avengers’.
