Following member changes and amidst their recent controversy, girl group T-ara will return with their seventh mini album next week.
On August 30th, Core Contents Media announced that the group will be releasing its seventh mini album ‘Mirage’ on September 3. The title track is “Sexy Love” and is the fourth series piece by Shinsadong Tiger and Choi Kyu Sung, who also wrote “Bo Peep Bo Peep”, “Roly Poly” and “Lovey Dovey”.
T-ara was originally scheduled to release "“Sexy Love” in early August. However, their comeback was pushed back due to the recent controversy regarding Hwayoung’s leave from the group after her contract with the firm was canceled.
The agency also explained why the T-ara members had kept quiet until they released an apology letter yesterday. “T-ara remained silent the past month because they thought personal differences should remain private. But misunderstandings brought false reporting, so all the T-ara members went public with an apology.”
Additionally, Core Contents announced that T-ara will focus on their singing activities overseas with concerts in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan starting from mid-September till the end of November.
