Shinhwa member Lee Minwoo has been picked to be the Korean representative of a judging panel on a Chinese singing-survival show.
The survival program is named “Sung Dong Yah Juh Woo”, which roughly translates to “The Voice to Make Asia Cry”. The show will air on Shanghai Cable TV from September 5, and will feature singers who have released albums in Korea, China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
Lee Minwoo will join Japan’s Lisa Ono and China’s Sun Nan for the show’s first-round auditions. The Shinhwa member stated, “It’s an honor to serve as a Korea representative judge for such a big Asian program. I will happily do my best to judge and meet the standards of everyone who have big expectations for this program.”
