Singer Kim Gun Mo has stepped down from singing-survival show “I Am a Singer” due to health reasons.
According to the singer’s agency on August 14, Kim Gun Mo fell ill while performing under the rain at an outdoor concert on the 12th and was unable to attend the recording on the following day. MBC previously decided to move up the filming schedule by one week, however, Kim Gun Mo decided to leave the MBC singing show.
The agency added, “He was in no condition to sing, and due to this reason, we decided that it would be best if he pulled out from the show altogether.”
Kim Gun Mo has competed on “I Am a Singer” from last year, and in October 2011, he celebrated his 20th anniversary in the industry.
