JYPE holds successful JYP Nation concert in Japan
JYP Entertainment held a successful joint concert titled ‘JYP NATION in Japan’ at the Yoyogi Stadium on August 18th and 19th.
The tour, consisting of three concerts for over the course of two days, had attracted some 36,000 excited audience members coming to enjoy the performances. JYP Nation boasted the line-up of miss A, 2AM, 2PM, JJ Project, Joo, San E and the agency’s head, Park Jin Young himself.
Various collaborations by members of different groups enthralled the fans. 2AM’s Jo Kwon sang a song written by 2AM’s Jusu called “Even If We’re Apart” with Joo, while 2PM’s Taecyeon and Ye Eun from the Wonder Girls sang a duet called “After You’ve Left”. Meanwhile, Park Jin Young, 2AM’s Changmin, 2PM’s Junho and Taecyeon sang the Wonder Girls’ “Be My Baby” which was a delight to the fans.
Many Japanese fans showed their enthusiasm by standing for the three-hour duration of the concert and singing along in Korean. JYPE revelead that the tickets to the concerts were sold out within 10 minutes of going on sale, adding that it was a wonderful event bringing together all of JYP’s talents.
