[NEWS] Epik High to return in September under YG Entertainment
After being away in the K-Pop radar for three long years, hip hop trio Epik High will finally be making a comeback this coming September.
According to YG Entertainment on July 25th, “Epik High has signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment to release a new album. They have already finished recording and plan to release the album this September.”
The new album will be Epik High’s first release in three years since the 2009 sixth album ‘e’. The group went through a long hiatus as Tablo has been engulfed in a debate regarding his academics, while DJ Tukutz and Mithra enlisted in the army.
Tablo eventually joined YG Entertainment and released his first solo album ‘Fever’s End’ last September. The two members DJ Tukutz and Mithra Jin are reportedly planning to sign exclusive contracts with YG as well.
