Idol group B2ST is finally making their much-awaited return to the local music scene with their new mini-album after spending a year and two months of hiatus. Challenging themselves with a new style, the boys showed confidence in their new album ‘Midnight Sun’.
B2ST had a special press meeting on July 20 and revealed their true feelings about their first comeback in nearly 14 months.
The members stated, “We did our best to come back with a new style for our fans that waited for so long. We are nervous about it. But if we come back with good music, we believe our fans will show lots of support.”
Talking about the musical transformation, Yoseob revealed, “After contemplating with the members, we decided on the album’s direction and we think we have produced the best album. I’m also confident about the transformation.”
When asked to express the album in one word, Yong Junhyung said, “War.” He explained, “Making this album was the hardest time as if we were in a war. People around us had the deepest concerns about us making changes. However, we believe that we want to show off our music confidently on stage, so we have no regrets.”
Jang Hyunseung expressed his big hopes saying, “We want to win first place 4 times in a row. Even though we aren’t too concerned about awards, I wish will have a meaningful promotion period.”
Meanwhile, B2ST will be releasing the rest of its fifth mini album, including its title song “Beautiful Night”, on July 22.
