Ahead of their official Japan debut, Wonder Girls’ Japanese version of “Nobody” has already ranked #1 on the Ringtone & TV Commercial Charts of Japan’s biggest digital site, Recochoku.
Since April, Wonder Girls have been working for Kowa’s body powder ‘Marshpuff Kowa’, in which the group released a CM with Japanese version of “Nobody” as background music. As soon as “Nobody” was made available for download on June 25, the single topped the Ringtone & TV Commercial Daily Charts of Recochoku.
JYP Entertainment stated, “Even before the official release, the Japanese version of Wonder Girls’ ‘Nobody’ is currently very popular in Japan. We ask for your unwavering support for the Wonder Girls as they are working so hard in and out of Korea.”
Meanwhile, Wonder Girls will be releasing their first Japanese album, “Nobody For Everybody” on July 25 and will hold special promotion event in Tokyo on July 26th.
