[NEWS] Kibum's fans from 22 countries sends 1-tonne worth of rice wreaths to the press conference of "I Love Lee Taeri" as support!


Super Junior’s fans from 22 countries worldwide have sent rice wreaths weighing a tonne for the sake of member Kim Kibum's success in his drama.

During the press conference for the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama “I Love Lee Taeri” (script by Moon Jiyoung, directed by Kim Dohyuk) which was held on the 21st (of May) at 11am at Seoul Yongdeungpo Times Square’s M Pub, the one-tonne worth of rice wreaths praying for the success of the drama had arrived.

The rice wreaths at the press conference of “I Love Lee Taeri” were given by a coalition of Super Junior’s fans from 15 Arabian countries, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Qatar, and Jordan, and also by fans from China, Japan, Italy, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand, making it a participation by fandoms from a total of 22 countries.

Earlier, Kim Kibum’s fans also sent rice wreaths to the press conference of the SBS TV drama ‘A Deep-rooted Tree’ (Script by Kim Younghyun and Park Sangyeon, directed by Jang Taeyoo and Shin Kyungsoo) last year in order to cheer on Kibum.

The first episode of “I Love Lee Taeri”, which will be aired at 11pm on the 28th, depicts the love story between the 25-year-old man that possesses the soul of a 14-year-old who wants to defend (the existence of) pure love with an heiress who does not believe in love.
