Quartet male band CNBLUE is taking both Korea and Japan by storm with their music and acting.
CNBLUE will be releasing their third Japanese single “Come On” on August 1. Earlier on, their second single “Where You Are” which was released in February has received tremendous support and topped Oricon Chart as well as created history.
Prior to the third Japanese single release, Jung Yonghwa‘s drama “Heartstrings” will also begin airing in Japan. To commemorate the drama’s Japan premiere, Jung Yonghwa will be attending the official fan meeting for “Heartstrings” in Tokyo. His co-star in the drama, Park Shinhye, will also be attending the event on July 16 at the Tokyo International Forum Hall A.
Meanwhile in their homeland Korea, drummer Kang Minhyuk and guitarist Lee Jonghyun have emerged as the weekend’s delight on small screens at homes.
Kang Minhyuk is currently attracting attentions of all viewers of KBS2′s ”My Husband Got a Family” (Unexpected You) with his character, Cha Segwang, Kim Namju‘s little brother in the drama.
His “push and pull” relationship with equally flirty Bang Malsook (Oh Yeonseo) in the drama is also enjoyable to watch. Kang Minhyuk‘s character as the student-tutor for Jang Geun (Gwak Dongyeon), one of the the “mental broke down couple” in the drama has also garnered a lot of laughter.
Lee Jonghyun on the other hand is acting in “A Gentleman’s Dignity” alongside senior actors such as Jang Donggeun and Kim Suro. The story revolves around the relationship of the men in their 40s, so having 20 year-old Colin (Lee Jonghyun‘s character) in the drama is invigorating. For this drama, Colin appears to be mysterious yet charming at the same time. The intertwined secrets of the past among the characters in the drama are attracting viewers’ curiosity as the drama goes on.
