[NEWS] Big Bang dominates album sales for the first half of 2012


The boys of Big Bang are bringing in huge numbers for their album sales this first half of 2012 and completely dominates the album sales for the first half. It has been reported that their mini album "Alive" and special repacked album "Still Alive" surpassed 400,000 album sales when combined. Their mini album "Alive" which was released last February sold over 280,000 copies and "Still Alive" which was just released this month had over 120,000 album sales without even promoting the album.

By June, their album sales have reached over 400,000 and it is bound to increase as the months progressed. Other groups with impressive album sales are JYJ's Junsu who sold 120,000 of his album Tarantallegra, SNSD's sub group TaeTiSeo who also sold over 120,000 for their mini album "Twinkle". With Super Junior's comeback this July, the two groups who are known for having huge album sales will be battling it out for their album sales this year.
