It has been revealed that 2NE1‘s first world tour, “NEW EVOLUTION” would be participated in by a famous director.
On the 25th, YG Entertainment revealed, “For 2NE1′s first world tour, the choreographer for Michael Jackson’s ‘THIS IS IT’ concert, Travis Payne, and Beyonce’s tour band leader, Divinity Roxx, would be participating, ” he said.
On July 28 and 29, at the Olympic Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul, Korea, the workings of two of today’s talented and influential people, who have worked with some of the best musicians today like Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Janet Jackson, etc, would be revealed.
Travis Payne will be the concert director responsible for 2NE1′s shows. He choreographed Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson’s short film/music video, “Scream,” which was awarded the MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography. He has also been responsible for the choreography of such respected artists like Usher, Beyonce, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Jennifer Lopez.
The session band playing for the concert, would be joined by Divinity Roxx, the musical director and bassist of Beyonce’s world tour. The powerful stage presence of the band, which didn’t have a male musician, has even become a hot topic in Korea.
