2NE1 pushes back its much-awaited comeback to next month.
On June 12th, a representative of YG Entertainment stated, “2NE1 was originally set to release their album this month. However, while working hard to produce a quality album, their album release date has been delayed.”
The representative added, “Currently, 2NE1 is planned to return with their new album in mid-July. With 2NE1 members being absorbed in album preparations, we ask for everyone’s high expectations for the upcoming album”, making it clear that the delay were to ensure flawless recording and not to avoid competition with other groups.
Although 2NE1 has delayed their comeback to allow for more time working on the album, the members have promised to repay their waiting fans with even more impressive performances in the upcoming promotions.
