[NEWS] Big Bang will not promote ‘Still Alive’ album

Big Bang will not hold promotional activities for their upcoming special edition album ‘Still Alive’. The group will focus on its ongoing world tour ‘2012 Big Bang Alive Tour’ instead.

On May 29, a spokesperson for Big Bang’s agency, YG Entertainment, stated, “The album is like a present for fans who loved the group’s fifth mini album. The group is not planning to promote the album in Korea.”

Big Bang is in the midst of a series of concerts lined up in Japan. The group started their tour with shows in Nagoya and Yokohama, and plans to visit Osaka on May 31~June 3, Saitama on June 16~17 and Fukuoka on June 23~24. With Big Bang’s packed concert schedule, performing in Korea seems impossible.

‘Still Alive’, its title song “Monster” and music video will be released on June 3 while the hard copy will be available on June 6. This mini album will include a total of nine tracks; five new songs as well as “Blue”, “Bad Boy”, “Fantastic Baby” and “Love Dust”. The title song “Monster” was written and composed by G-Dragon.
